Fell Foot

Fell Foot Park, which is situated at the southern end of Lake Windermere and just off the A592, is a beautifully restored eighteen acre Victorian park owned by the National Trust. In spring and early summer there are wonderful displays of daffodils and rhododendrons.

At Fell Foot Park you can enjoy a picnic on the lawns, which are next to the lake, or take a ferry across to Lakeside and visit the Lakes Aquarium, take a trip on the Haverthwaite Steam Railway, or take a cruise on the lake with Windermere Lake Cruises.

Fell Foot Park has a childrens playground area and in the Victorian boathouses they have a tea room, shop, ice cream kiosk and rowing boats for hire. This park is a popular area for the whole family to enjoy a day out in the Lakes.
