St Mary’s Church
Unfortunately, due to extensive renovations and alterations there is hardly anything left of the original 1848 chapel. In 1852 a south aisle with round arches was added, in 1857 a north aisle with pointed arches was added, in 1861 a nave west extension was added, in 1871 a north transept was added and in 1881-2 the chancel, the tower and the west end was added. Finally, St Mary’s church had to be restored after a fire in 1988.
