A beautiful traditional Victorian Guest House. Ideally positioned for exploring the Lakeland area, we are situated on a quiet corner halfway between Windermere and Bowness. We offer a high standard of hospitality and comfort, creating an informal, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We aim to provide first class accommodation, food and service.

The house is warm and tastefully decorated, all rooms are en suite and some 4-poster rooms. All rooms have colour TV some with DVD’s and all have tea/coffee making facilities. There is a ground floor suitable for the not-so-mobile. Our comfortable lounge is available for you to use at any time.

At breakfast we offer a full choice of menu. We are also happy to cater for light diets, Vegetarians or other special requirements.

As we enjoy walking and love the area we are able to advise on all aspects of your holiday. Windermere town centre with its bustling interesting shops is within easy walking distance and Lake Windermere is only a short walk away in the other direction. Bowness is also close by with its own shopping area to explore, there are museums, cafes, sporting facilities, as well as the breathtaking lakes and mountains.
