Kenilworth Guest House is very conveniently located for your stay in Windermere. We offer warm and welcoming accommodation in our grand 4 star Victorian home – built in 1896 yet modernised to now have six en-suite bedrooms and be fully double glazed. Hearty breakfasts, with vegetarian alternatives. Non-smoking. Parking.

Warmth, comfort and cleanliness are our priorities. We have six comfortable bedrooms, including our spacious king-size double. All the usual bedroom facilities, in additon we have a spacious guests’ lounge with maps and guides to plan your days’ activities. Some private parking with free on-road parking.

Holly Road is a leafy side road in the town of Windermere, yet only a two minute walk to the local shops, cafes and restuarants. We are approx 7-8 minutes’ walk from the station and roughly 20-30 minutes’ walk from the lake. Even without a car getting about is straightforward – mini-bus tours will collect from Kenilworth Guest House.

Orrest Head viewpoint – a 30 minute walk away with stunning views. The Beatrix Potter Attraction and Hill Top. Wordsworth’s homes Dove Cottage and Rydal Mount. Lake cruises and steam railway.
