Honister House is a distinctive 18th Century AA 4 star timber-beamed Keswick town centre bed and breakfast with a wealth of interesting features including wood burning stoves and works by local artists on display together with all modern facilities, and featuring charming jewellery shop on site specialising in hand made locally inspired jewellery.

Honister House has three ensuite double/twin bedrooms complete with flat screen colour TVs/DVDs, hospitality trays (with home-made biscuits, books and framed works by local artists. We have an AA “best breakfast” award. We provide seasonal dishes and cater for Vegetarians and others with special dietary requirements.

Honister House Keswick is situated just off the market square in the old part of the town centre and opposite George Fisher outdoor wear shop in Lake Road, with Keswick’s many restaurants, shops and other attractions either on our doorstep or but a short walk away.

Honister House is very close to Derwent Water Lake and the celebrated Theatre By The Lake and Alhambra cinema, restaurants, art galleries shops, pubs and to Keswick’s many other attractions including Cars of the Stars and Pencil Museum, with the famous Castlerigg Stone Circle, Mire House, Whinlatter Forest Park, Trotters World of Animals and Honister Slate Mine but a short distance away.
