Greystone-Cottage is a victorian lakeland stone house, tastefully renovated and providing en-suite accomodation to a high standard, our rooms are spacious as are the en-suites which include double sized showers.

We are open all year round, and offer a varied choice of breakfast ie vegetarian, full english or continental. All freshly supplied locally. Rooms include tea making facilities, colour tv, hair drier etc. offroad parking is available.

Greystone-Cottage offers a perfect location for visitors to the South Lakes and many local tourist attractions. We are just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village of Windermere, and face the peaceful library gardens.

Walk from Greystone Cottage down to the Lake in Bowness on Windermere and take a boat trip, then visit the World of Beatrix Potter, or alternatively just stroll into our village to the many cafe’s, restaurants and public houses. There are many things to do without taking the car.
