Green Gable can be climbed from Honister Pass, Seathwaite in Borrowdale or Ennerdale. The summit of Green Gable, which is marked by a cairn, would be a famous spot in it’s own right if it wasn’t for the huge presence of Great Gable. However, there are good views of Gable Crag and Scafell Pike but the most spectacular view would be the view up the Buttermere valley.
