Wasdale Valley
Wasdale, which is a picturesque scenic valley in the Lake District, runs from Wasdale Head down to Nether Wasdale and then out to the villages of Santon Bridge and Gosforth before the River Irt, that follows the valley, heads to sea at Ravenglass. England's deepest lake, Wast water, occupies a large part of the valley floor.
Wasdale Valley is a walkers and climber's paradise with majestic mountains like Scafell, Scafell Pike, Kirk Fell, Pillar and Great Gable dominating the head of the valley. This beautiful valley has many walks and climbs with varying degrees of difficulty, from the novice walker to the experienced climber, to offer.
