South Lakes Cottages Self Catering Kirkby-in-Furness

South Lakes Cottages offers two unique properties, Sunset Cottage in Kirkby-in-Furness and Stockdale Farm in Flookburgh. Sunset Cottage is a 17th century former yeoman farmers house with 2 or 3 bedrooms, beautiful original features, oak beams, flagged floor in the kitchen. There is an inglenook fire place with log burning stove and a large enclosed south facing garden. There are stunning views over the Duddon Estuary and the mountains beyond. Stockdale Farm is a Grade II listed barn conversion with two bedrooms - one with kingsize bed and the other a twin. It also has many original features, exposed beams and is fully equipped and very comfortable. There are lovely views across to Humphrey Head and Cartmel Fell. It has a south facing private terrace within the courtyard.

Both properties have fully equipped kitchens with fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and a dishwasher in Sunset Cottage. Pets are welcome at Sunset Cottage. Garden furniture is provided at both properties for you to enjoy the south facing terrace/garden. Bed linen/towels, electricity/oil and logs for the fire at Sunset Cottage are included. Tea, coffee, sugar and a pint of fresh milk is provided for your arrival. Freeview digital TV is provided at Stockdale Farm and Wifi broadband is available at Sunset Cottage on request (free of charge). Both properties have TV, DVD & video player and a selection of DVDs and videos are provided for use.
