Poets of the Lakes
The Lake Poets, which consisted of a group of English writers who lived in the Lakes in England, were Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Robert Southey and William Wordsworth.
This group of poets, who were also friends, were part of the Romantic Movement of the late 1700's and early 1800's. They were associated with several other writers, which included Dorothy Wordsworth and Thomas De Quincey.
