Lake District Coast Aquarium

The Lake District Coast Aquarium, which is located on the quayside at the refurbished Maryport harbour in Cumbria, specialises in native British aquatic life and has over 45 creative displays.

This attraction is perfect for the whole family to enjoy as your admission ticket allows you to re-enter the display area all day and therefore you can enjoy watching the fish being fed and listen to the talks by their friendly staff, as well as visiting all the other attractions Maryport has to offer.

The cafe, which is part of the aquarium building, has a reputation for simple good food at realistic prices. Other attractions include a gift shop, radio control boats, adventure playground and mini golf to name but a few. There are also a number of museums like the Maryport Maritime Museum to visit, an indoor karting track and a number of circular walks around Maryport.
