Hill Crest is a country guest house which prides itself on its high standard of accommodation, home comforts, relaxing atmosphere and genuine hospitality. Breakfasts are cooked to perfection by your host Jane, a trained chef. All rooms have beautiful views of the surrounding Lakeland fells.

Hill Crest has 4 rooms, 1 large family room which has an adjoining room with 2 single beds. A large 4 poster with its owm lounge area, and 2 double rooms, all rooms have en-suite shower rooms. Equipped with T.Vs, hairdryers, tea & coffee tray and toiletries. Guests are welcomed with a pot of tea and homemade scones. Leisure facitlities are available.

We are situated 1 mile from the southern end of Lake Windermere on the out skirts of Newby Bridge, only 10 mins drive from Bowness and Hawkshead and 20 mins from Coniston and Ambleside. Cartmel is only 5 mins drive and Grange over Sands a little further. Ulverston just less than 10 mins away.

The Haverthwaite and Lakeside railway is a short walk from Hill Crest, the Aquarium of the lakes and the Steamers on Windermere are also walkable. Beatrix Potter museum is 10 mins drive away. Fell Foot Park is a few mins away, and Holker Hall and car museum are close by, as well as Hill Top and Grizedale Forest. Many walks can be taken from Hill Crest too.
