Far Nook is a 4 Star Superior Bed and Breakfast with a coveted Tourist Board Gold Award. We have quality rooms with King Size, Double and Twin Beds. A lovely traditional Lakeland House centrally based and ideal for both Tourist and Walker alike. A very attentive and personal service is provided during your stay.

We offer an extensive breakfast menu and comfortable and quality rooms for you to enjoy your stay. We have off road parking for all our Guests in Far Nooks car park. We have a lovely Garden, with its 300 year old Spanish chestnut tree, for Guests to relax in. There is a small Guest Lounge available. Tea and Lakeland Tea Bread on arrival.

We are Superbly located in Ambleside, just a stroll from the centre. Ambleside has an abundance of Restaurants from Italian, Bistro , Indian, Thai and English cuisine and of course pub grub! A 15 min walk to Lake Windermere at Waterhead Bay. Bus services are close by with the nearest Train Station being Windermere.
