The Eastern Lake District has some excellent mountain scenery from all angles, probably one of the most visited areas during weekend breaks or holidays. Small villages well hidden down winding country lanes, Caldbeck and Glenridding among them.
Cool crisp waterfalls tumbling down revenous craggs then disappearing through the many rivers and streams.
