Clappersgate

Clappersgate, which is a village which straddles the bank of the River Brathay, is located between Ambleside and Skelwith Bridge on the A593 in the Lake District, Cumbria. The River Brathay is popular with canoeists between Clappersgate and Skelwith Bridge. This picturesque village is ideal as a central base to explore the rest of the Lake District.

Langdale Pikes
