Brougham
Brougham, which is a small village in the Eden District to the east of the Lake District, lies on the outskirts of Penrith in Cumbria. This village, which consists of a few farms, some modern houses near the hall and a few cottages next to the castle (some of these are built on the site of the Roman fort of Brocavum), is often classified as an outlying suburb of Penrith.

This village, which is steeped in history, has Brougham Castle, which was once home to Lady Anne Clifford, Brougham Hall and Countess Pill are are all within this parish. The Center Parcs Oasis Holiday Village, which is in Whinfell Forest, is also within this parish.
