Located in the conservation area of Grasmere Village, the Hotel is situated in two acres of woodland gardens, beside the River Rothay, opposite St. Oswald’s l3th Century Church.
Bridge House Hotel makes the ideal base for a walking holiday. Helvellyn, the Langdale Pikes and the Fairfield Horseshoe, are all within walking distance. Also, there are numerous low-level walks for those feeling less energetic, such as up to Easedale Tarn or beside Rydal Water.
