Biskey Howe viewpoint

Biskey Howe is a good viewpoint just above the centre of Bowness. From here you can see the whole ten and a half miles of Lake Windermere from Lakeside to Waterhead. The view across Windermere is dominated by the Langdale Pikes and the view across Bowness on Windermere is that of Claife Heights.

There is, however, a stone pedestal which has a relief map to help you identify the various peaks from Biskey Howe.
